Chuck Ward was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. Being an entrepreneur at heart, Chuck was involved in many different business ventures at a very young age. From buying and selling houses to helping his mother run her antique store. Chuck claims to have learned the basic principles of entrepreneurial skills from the house flipping business. Chuck grew up with a passion for business and creating new opportunities. When offered a position at the Civic Coliseum, he jumped at the chance to be a part of the production and show business. After holding nearly every position at the Coliseum, Chuck became the stage manager and President of the local International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees 197. He oversaw acts such as Jerry Seinfeld, Harry Connick Jr., and Garth Brooks. With his extensive experience and passion for music and production, Chuck had become a major player in the show industry and was on the lookout for new challenges. After the stage was finished being built Chuck jumped at the opportunity to run and be a part of Back Porch on the Creek, Knoxville’s newest premier outside entertainment venue. Chuck is very excited to be back in production with Back Porch on the Creek.
“Building authentic partnerships with the icons of today is the way to continually remind people that the artist and songs are legendary, and should be revered as so.” -Chuck Ward
